Gender equality at Bath - focus group

Posted in: University Athena SWAN

The University of Bath intends to apply for an Institutional Athena SWAN Silver award (we currently hold Bronze) to underscore its commitments to gender equality. Embedding good equality practice in all that we do as Departments and as a University benefits all staff and students.

USAT - University's Athena SWAN Committee - invites colleagues from all job families and grades to take part in an Athena SWAN themed focus group either online or in person (focus groups in person have been postponed due to Covid-19). In these focus groups, we will ask for your input around your experience in relation to gender at Bath - from recruitment, retention, career progression to support available for colleagues who care for children, parents, and partners. The insights from the focus groups will be used to inform an institutional Athena SWAN application and a four-year action plan.

(Postponed due to Covid-19) Option 1: Focus group in person

Please fill in the below survey instead.

Option 2: An online focus group

We appreciate that not everyone who is interested will be able to attend a face-to-face focus group session. Hence, we invite colleagues to participate in the online focus group - survey, where you can share your views and experience of gender equality at Bath. You can complete the survey here. Survey will close on 30th April.

Data protection statement: Only University's EDI Officer will have access to the survey data. Once anonymised and aggregated, it will be presented to USAT in a form of a report. Raw survey data will be permanently deleted in April 2021.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to University's ED&I Officer Aiste.
