The company that provide our lecture capture platform, Panopto, have announced a minor update to our version of the software from version 4.7 to 4.8.
It's due to be done on January 29th from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. , but it's not a major update.

The big updates are:
- A new SharePoint app that brings enterprise-grade video management and search to SharePoint Online and on-premises customers
- 60fps support for streaming broadcast-quality video
- Live webcasting to iPads and iPhones from Windows PCs
- Search federation with a range of applications using the OpenSearch standard
- Support for approval workflows
- A new option to host your Panopto cloud in Europe
- Continuous sync of enrollments in Moodle
- Batch scheduling of recordings
