Posted in: Advancing Research Computing, High Performance Computing (HPC)

Dear All,

The High Performance Computing (HPC) Scientific Organising Committee are delighted to announce that at this year's symposium the keynote talk will be given by Mark Chapman, Chief Engineer from the Bloodhound SSC project (http://www.bloodhoundssc.com/). While the talk will include use of HPC withing the Bloodhound project we expect that the lecture will be of general interest to the wider university community as this project enters an exciting phase. As a result we have opened up the lecture across the university.
