Dear All,
The High Performance Computing (HPC) Scientific Organising Committee are delighted to announce that at this year's symposium the keynote talk will be given by Mark Chapman, Chief Engineer from the Bloodhound SSC project (http://www.bloodhoundssc.com/). While the talk will include use of HPC withing the Bloodhound project we expect that the lecture will be of general interest to the wider university community as this project enters an exciting phase. As a result we have opened up the lecture across the university.
Registration is free but if you would like to attend the lecture please register at http://bathhpc15-keynote.eventbrite.co.uk so that we can ensure sufficient space and refreshments afterwards.
NB: If you are already registering for the full HPC Symposium there is no need to register separately for the bloodhound talk.
We look forward to seeing you on the 4th June,
the HPC Scientific Organising Committee,
Dr Steven Chapman (Computing Services)
Dr James Grant (Chemistry)
Dr Stefano Angioni (Mechanical Engineering)
