The SAMBa CDT, funded by EPSRC, provided additional funding to grow the computational and storage capacity of the University of Bath's new HPC system, Balena.

As part of the degree all students will gain valuable skills in Scientific Computing and many will go on to do computing-intensive PhD projects using our local Balena HPC service and the national HPC service, ARCHER.
