The sketching event held by the BBESS was inspired by the attendance of the ACE Society’s sketch club. It was great to have taken the time out of our busy schedules to sketch, socialize and have fun. Seeing the masterpieces everyone came up with was inspiring.
We started the session off with a warm-up of just drawing lines, circles, and squares. This was followed by random shapes of similar sizes. As you can see in the photo, someone got a little carried away with the board marker.
The session was based on the advertisement’s task, 'to take a picture of an object of your choosing before the session'. This object was yours to sketch. The session was run in such a way that one would feel comfortable just before the end to sketch their object with as much or as little detail as possible.
