Our activities night began with a very challenging general knowledge quiz, so challenging that the help of Google was allowed! We’ll never forget that Gaborone is the capital of Botswana.
We then enjoyed a much simpler round of riddles, including the infamous fox, chicken, and grain one! Pictionary created some great laughs and a huge comeback for team Uno. There were some very interesting drawings and guesses alike.
The penultimate activity was ‘Who am I?’ where one member from each team had to guess the celebrity’s name that was on their forehead. This game was a great source of entertainment with many wild and hilarious guesses.
By this point in the evening, the teams were neck and neck with just a couple of points between them. It all rested on the final round, a very competitive paper plane contest which saw some impressive designs (we are engineers after all!).
Overall, the evening was full of fun and snacks and was a very welcome break from upcoming deadlines and exams.
