Your chance to get involved in 'Brilliantly Engineered'

Would you like to take part in BRLSI's Brilliantly Engineered event in February 2025? The event is a celebration of Banes-based engineering prowess and gives thousands of families and school children from the local area a chance to take part in activities and delve into the world of engineering.

For the University of Bath, the event is an opportunity to showcase both the engineering research that is carried out here, alongside the varied learning opportunities we offer.  Last year, our Team Bath Racing Electric students had a stand at the event where visitors could test their driving response times, learn about electric car engineering and explore opportunities to learn more about automotive and electrical engineering.

The other local organisations that were involved in the event this year included BMT, Dyson, Buro Happold, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, Rotork and Cross Manufacturing. From unveiling the cutting-edge projects by local engineering companies to highlighting the groundbreaking research undertaken within our university labs, every aspect of the event reflected the spirit of ingenuity and collaboration required for a brilliantly engineered future.

Dyson and Rotork have already agreed shared sponsorship of the event for February 2025, giving more schools an opportunity to attend for free and inspire their students.

If you or your research team is interested in getting involved in the event please contact me and I'll connect you to the organising team.
