Unesco has appointed a new director of ESD. A Unesco insider announced this yesterday at a meeting I attended, but knowledge being power, they declined to share the details. What a tease!
They did say, however, that the post would herald a change of direction for Unesco; one that embraces – if I got this right: I confess that I was so overcome that my notes are a bit of a blur – culture, climate change and ESD. Who can that be!
