I'm pleased to have been appointed as one of the four external members of the National Union of Students' Environmental Sustainability Direction and Oversight Board. I'm a keen supporter of NUS generally, but particularly of Jamie Agombar and his very able team who have done so much to stimulate student unions round the country into thinking and acting about sustainability. I'm looking forward to aiding their work, especially in relation to broader learning issues and integration with the formal curriculum.
