I've not written about ELSA recently as there has not been anything to say. For example, its development group has not met for over a year, and it has not made any recent contribution to national debate about sustainability and learning – not that there has been much of a debate to contribute to.
That may be about to change as the development group plans to meet once the holidays are safely out of the way. It also has a new co-ordinator; by co-incidence, her name is Elsa, and I am not the only one to fear that some confusion, and much hilarity, will ensue as a result. I'd suggest a name change, but it seems a lot to ask of someone newly joining the group as a volunteer. Maybe it's ELSA that should change its name: new start – new name. I'll work on that.
As for me, I'm no longer involved as I am now not a Director of the South West Learning for Sustainability Coalition. However, I'll be keeping an eye out for what ELSA (or whatever) gets up to.
