In my desire to find something positive about the forthcoming Paris climate talks, I turned to Buzzfeed – quite essential viewing these days, don't you find?

I'll not be in Paris with Al and Bob, the Bono Dog Doo Dah band and Naomi and Daniella – but I felt unable to stay at home and treat it just like another week. So, I'm as close to Paris as I reasonably can get without leaving the sanctity of the Realm; I'm on the Dorset coast to walk (get blown away, more like) on the southwest coastal footpath. At the very least this will afford great views of the sea level rising, and, as I'm forcing myself to drop by River Cottage, at least the food will likely be better than that available in Paris.
So I'll not see you there!
