To mark International Women's Day, The Ecologist compiled a list of 25 inspirational female "climate leaders" who, it days, will be shaping the climate agenda in 2019. It only consulted around 100 people in "the field" to compile the list. There are well-known and fashionable activists such as Greta Thunberg (she comes top) and some other usual suspects. There's two from the UK, one of whom I had heard of.
All told, I had only heard of 8 of the 25 which probably says more about me than anything else. I was disappointed not to see Sara Parkin's name on the list.
Who else is obviously missing?
