How green is my university

Today's THE, in noting that climate change will "likely top the international news agenda later this month when young people across the world walk out of schools, colleges and universities ahead of a crucial summit on the subject being held by the United Nations in New York", goes on to ask whether higher education institutions are "doing enough to help tackle the crisis or are they simply paying it lip service, with one eye on public relations?"

Nick Mayo examines the issue in depth for THE and finds that, while "many academics are at the forefront of finding solutions, a number of experts believe universities can and should do more, especially in terms of being a role model for wider society".

You no doubt agree, especially if you are one of the "many academics" as you probably are if you are reading this?
