As you'll be aware, the UN left Greta Thunberg stranded in Los Angeles and in a bit of a pickle as she noted in a recent tweet:
"As #COP25 has officially been moved from Santiago to Madrid I’ll need some help. It turns out I’ve traveled half around the world, the wrong way. Now I need to find a way to cross the Atlantic in November... If anyone could help me find transport I would be so grateful."
Happily, however, she has hitched a ride on a passing yacht (well, it was passing the east coast) and so she'll get to COP25 in Madrid in time to be a further inspiration, sped along by all those Atlantic low pressure systems that are causing people such misery in the UK at present. The kindness of strangers, thank goodness, seems inexhaustible.
