I see that NUS has a new president-elect. She's Larissa Kennedy and she has been welcomed by the MSM with the usual hostility. The key question for me is whether she will be as assiduous in supporting sustainability as the last two (splendid) office holders have been. Judging by what the papers have focused on over the last few days that seemed unlikely, but I'm happy to report that Kennedy checked sustainability in her manifesto and signed the SOS / NUS UKSCN climate pledge that all running for office were asked to sign.
