2025 was an interesting year for the ETA.
Changes in the support departments meant little ability to expand the functions. But we are still functioning!
Our friends over at Bath Spa University asked us if we could take on some things from them. Which we've been very happy to do!
The display cases and contents have been very happily received..... and are now in use.....
Our particular thanks to Hazel Grainger and David Rooney for the suggestion and help in facilitating it!
Although we've yet to test the equipment in them, they are a very welcome addition to the collection.
Changes
We have been very busy in cataloguing and assessing the condition of the equipment in the Archive.
It will take us quite a long time to get around to everything, but we are making progress.
A BBC Micro Model B has been on the workbench - for some open-power-supply surgery.
It's now working.
Meeting Space
The Archive space is now ready to roll to host events, meetings and seminars again.
We did an event recently with other local universities and Epson UK - as a technical training day....
