The PharmaTimes Clinical Research Site of the Year award recognises the impact a clinical research site can have on the UK's global research competitiveness by delivering commercial studies to time and target in a cost-effective manner.
The competition is run through a high level industry steering committee with members drawn from the senior directors of top Pharma Companies and the NIHR. It is co-sponsored by the NIHR and the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI).
Participation is rewarded every step of the way, with feedback and personal development. Should you make it to the finals, the whole industry will join in celebrating your success at a special presentation ceremony taking place at the Royal College of Physicians on 31st January 2013, which will be organised in your honour.
Dr Louise Wood, Head of Research Infrastructure and Growth, Department of Health, explains the significance of the award:
