A grants scheme designed to provide additional support to research active Clinical Lecturers.
This partnership scheme is run by the Academy of Medical Sciences with the support of the Wellcome Trust, the British Heart Foundation and Arthritis Research UK. It provides grants of up to £30,000 to enable research active Clinical Lecturers to undertake research and gather preliminary data to strengthen their applications for longer-term fellowships and funding.
The scheme is now open for an eighth round of applications. The deadline is 3 September 2012.
