We are pleased to share with you our upcoming events for LGBT+ History Month in February.

Research events

We are hosting two events with researchers from the University who look at gender and sexuality in the context of prisons, sport, and the workplace. We are also co-hosting an event with the Race Equality Network. We are really excited to hear from them and hope you will join us.

Queering prisons and Gender in sport: 9 February

Race, ethnicity and LGBT+ identities: Chinese bodies in sport (with the Race Equality Network): 23 February

Furthering transgender inclusion in the workplace: 24 February

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team at the University are also putting on a talk with Fox Fisher, award-winning LGBTQ+ activist, artist and author - co hosted with Bath Spa University.

This event for LGBT+ students and staff is being held in conjunction with the SU LGBT+ Diversity and Support group. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please register on Eventbrite so we know how many biscuits to buy!
