Re:View (Panopto) Event - Can you help shape the day?

On the 25th May 2017 a representative from Re:View (formerly known as Panopto) will be visiting the University to host a series of Drop-In sessions to allow audience members to learn and/or develop skills regarding functionality and capability.

The structure of the day will allow attendees to come in and out when it is possible around their current schedule. Each session will begin on the hour, and last 45 minutes, allowing 15 minutes for transition of people in and out. The current sessions due to occur on the day are as follows:

  • Basic recording using the desktop recorder
  • Editing and managing content – top and tail, restricting content by user or time, downloading content to put elsewhere, e.g. YouTube or Vimeo or saving
  • Captioning in Re:View
  •  Student Submissions
  • Quizzes

However the timings of these sessions are still to be confirmed, and this is where we need your input. The following survey will allow you to select the timings you are available, and the topics you would like to attend. Multiple options can be selected if you are free for the entire duration of the day, or should you only have a spare hour, you can select the topic you would most like to see covered. Sessions will be confirmed based upon popularity, and we will attempt to run all sessions at least once (depending on popularity), with a duplicate allocation of the most popular topic. Please complete your selections here, and the survey will close on Wednesday 17th May at 5pm:

For example, if you want to see "Basic recording using the desktop recorder" and "Captioning in Re:View", covered on the day, however only have between 12-2pm free, select "Not Interested" for the other sessions, and select your availability between 12:00-12:45, and 13:00-13:45 on both the selected topics.

Once confirmed, a follow up post will be made confirming the time slots allocated to each session, and the planned schedule for the visit.
