The outside of our building is taking shape now, with progress to the stone cladding and other elements of the façade. We’ve also removed our tower crane from the site, which is allowing us to progress with landscaping works to the rear of the building.
Inside the building, the installation of bedroom furniture and kitchens, along with decorating, joinery and floor laying is continuing. We are applying the final coats of paint to the first bedrooms over the next few weeks.
Behind the scenes, work continues in the plant rooms, comms rooms and service risers that together will ensure that the building operates correctly.
Around the perimter of the building, there will be some disruption over the coming months as the landscaping works continue, to ensure that Polden ties in with the rest of campus.
We will continue to work closely with the University Estates, AHS, and Security teams to minimise this disruption as much as possible as our project continues.
