Join us in wishing the University of Bath a happy 57th anniversary!

To celebrate how much has changed over the years, read our alumni Parade Profiles and, if you haven’t already, share your story with us.

Something we hope won’t change anytime soon is the traditional anniversary BUCS Super Rugby match at The Rec. Despite the pouring rain, 6,000 fans cheered on Bath to a 25-20 victory against Cardiff Met.

Dr Molly Conisbee, Dr Helen Frisby and Dr Kate Woodthorpe explore the subject of grief, past and present.

 

Global Chair Public Lecture: Professor Nicolas Kotov – Wednesday 6 December, 5.00PM (GMT), Bath
Professor Kotov, a leading researcher in the field of biomimetic nanostructures and one of Bath's 2023/24 Global Chairs, is giving a lecture titled 'Taming Disorder with Chirality', followed by a reception.

 

Minerva Lecture: How Airborne Diseases Spread and How We Can Stop Them – Wednesday 6 December, 6.00PM (GMT), online
Airborne respiratory diseases such as Covid and flu are all transmitted via aerosols. We will discuss how aerosols behave, how we can reduce the spread of diseases indoors, and how ventilation, masking and other technologies can play a role.
