New beginnings, plus alumni updates and events

Posted in: Advancement Office, Newsletters

I'm pleased to introduce myself as the Director of Advancement at the University. Having grown up in South West England, Bath has been my home for five years and I’ve built a personal connection to the University through the incredible Team Bath Tribe with my children.

The University of Bath has a history of excellence in teaching and research, consistently ranking highly in national and international league tables. Alongside this, I’ve been so impressed by the achievements of alumni, students and researchers.

I'm passionate about the role philanthropy plays to advance institutions like ours and enable opportunity, experience and education for all. It’s inspiring to see the impact we’re making together.

I’m delighted to have joined at this exciting time and look forward to working with Vice-Chancellor Professor Phil Taylor and other colleagues to grow the University’s impact, locally and globally.

I look forward to meeting and connecting with many of you over the coming months to share ideas about how we achieve this and hear your stories.

With best wishes

Lydia Lee
