A message from the new Director of the Milner Centre for Evolution, Professor Turi King.
I hope this message finds you well. I’m thrilled to have recently joined your University of Bath community as the Director of the Milner Centre for Evolution.
As a geneticist, I've spent my career unravelling the mysteries of DNA. I led the team that identified King Richard III when his remains were rediscovered, and you may have seen me on BBC’s DNA Family Secrets.
I’m excited to share my passion and insights with you in an upcoming lecture titled ‘The DNA Detective’. We will delve into the fascinating world of genetics and the implications for our understanding of ourselves and our past.
It would be an honour to have you join me for this special event, online or in person, on Tuesday 2 July 2024 from 6pm (BST) in 10 East, University of Bath. Please register to attend by Friday 15 June 2024.
I look forward to connecting with you and sharing the wonders of genetics together.
Warm wishes,
Professor Turi King
