Bath to the stars: celebrating alumni success

Posted in: Newsletters

We’re over the moon about Bath alumna Anne McClain’s second trip to the International Space Station to command the Crew 10 mission. The NASA astronaut previously shared her journey from campus to the cosmos in BA2.

Back on Earth, our entrepreneurial alumni are making waves: one graduate sold their student-founded company for £1 million, while another has become a board advisor for our Institute of Sustainability and Climate Change, driving impactful change for the planet.

Closer to home, an adventurous PhD student who is deaf and blind took centre stage at Bath’s half marathon, firing the starting gun before joining the race. Karolina Pakenaite has completed the London Marathon and scaled the Three Peaks in less than 24 hours.

Explore more inspiring alumni stories via On Parade. And please share your accomplishments – we love celebrating the brilliance of Bath!

With best wishes
