Public Engagement Unit operations during Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

Posted in: Public Engagement Unit updates

Following the recent decisions around social distancing by the government and following advice from the University's Executive Management Team the team at the Public Engagement Unit are currently working from home. The Public Engagement Unit is open for business and are continuing to support our academic and professional services colleagues. We wanted to take this opportunity to update you on how the Public Engagement Unit intends to operate in this period of reduced in-person contact. During this period of uncertainty, however, we may need to change how we work and the support we can offer, and we will keep you updated on any developments.

You can reach us via our Public Engagement Mailbox or see our contact pages for individual contacts. We are available via email, phone or Microsoft Teams. Updates on the University-wide response to COVID-19 can be found on the University website.

We are also researching how to continue engagement with research in creative ways during this period of working differently – do get in contact to discuss any ideas and opportunities.
