I have returned to academia after a while by taking a break from my professional career in the Energy Sector. At Bath, I have been pursuing my MRes /PhD International Development under Southwest Doctoral Training Partnership (SWDTP) of UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). I hold diverse academic qualifications including graduation in “Mechanical Engineering”, “Master in Energy Management”, “Master in Business Administration” from Pakistan and “M.Sc. in New and Renewable Energy” from Durham University, UK on Commonwealth Scholarship. I am member of some national and international energy and academic advisory forums and think tanks including my role as “Associate Fellow, Durham Energy Institute” and “Alumni Advisory Panel Member of Commonwealth Scholarship Commission UK”. My career aspiration is to contribute to achievement of UN SDG7 - Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all by 2030“.
