Jamie's Farm is looking for Bath Half runners!

Posted in: Community Events, Local and civic engagement

Do you love to run? Local charity Jamie's Farm, based in Bathford, is looking for volunteer runners who want a spot in the upcoming Bath Half Marathon to join their team.

When you run with Jamie's Farm you are supporting the charity's mission to transform the lives of young people across Britain from disadvantaged backgrounds. The farm welcomes teens to take part in five-day residential programmes that involve farming, family, therapy and legacy elements.

The Bath Half Marathon is one of the longest-established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. If you run with Jamie's Farm you will receive a Jamie’s Farm tech running t-shirt, have access to the farm's online private ‘Runner’s Area’ for resources and information to help with your training and all important fundraising, be able to enjoy delicious farm-made snacks on race day and be motivated by our amazing cheer squad, and receive support from our team every step of the way.

Don't run but want to get involved? No problem - the farm would also love volunteers to join their Cheer Squad, encouraging runners and helping provide for them on the day.

You can register to run or support through the Jamie's Farm website here.

Note that Jamie's Farm is also keen to hear from any researchers looking to work with disadvantaged teens - find out more in our blog here
