TEL Support Offer for Curriculum Transformation

Posted in: curriculum transformation, TEL

As we whizz through the year, Curriculum Transformation (CT) is fast approaching. With this in mind, it is the perfect time to let you what support TEL can offer between now and the start of Semester. We’ve engaged with colleagues from all Faculties across the University to establish your priority areas for TEL CT support. We’ve used your feedback to shape our support offering over the coming months and focused on three key areas.

The most requested areas for support were:

  1. Moodle course design
  2. Tools for assessment and feedback
  3. Supporting digital activities for students

There are three key next steps you can do to help you get ready for CT:

  1. Register on relevant support webinars

These short TEL support webinars will be held during April and are designed to spark ideas and signpost to a variety of resources on:

  1. Browse the TEL Curriculum Transformation support page

Our TEL Curriculum Transformation Support page highlights key resources (including how-to guides, exemplars and case studies) on the areas you’ve identified as being the most important. This page will be continually updated, so do keep an eye on it!

  1. Look out for support with Moodle templates

This was a strongly requested area for support and we have availability to offer departments a Moodle design workshop over the coming months. This will be aimed at helping teams to develop a team approach to engaging with Moodle, one that works for you and is consistent for students. You can read more about the Moodle templates or email tel@bath.ac.uk, if you would like to discuss this further. Following these workshops, we will also offer Moodle space reviews, on request.

We will also continue to provide our day-to-day TEL support via tel@bath.ac.uk and our 1:1 bookings. (However, do remember that as a team, we aren’t resourced to undertake development work on your courses.)

We look forward to working with you in the coming months!
