One Young World - Get involved at Bath

Posted in: Uncategorized

Hi all,

With just a week to go until the 2018 One Young World Summit, I'm really excited to announce that applications have just opened to be a part of the One Young World Bath Committee.

We think it is essential that the messages and experiences of the One Young World movement are shared amongst our community to enact positive change on our campus and beyond. Therefore, we are pleased to be hosting our third One Young World Bath Conference in 2019 - and you can get involved as part of the organising committee.

We are currently recruiting up to five voluntary positions on a Student Organising Committee who will lead on the coordination and management of the One Young World Bath Conference 2019. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to be at the forefront of an incredibly innovative project, helping to share ideas, themes and messages from One Young World on our campus.

Each member of the Student Organising Committee will have the opportunity to take on a specific role, giving a strong benefit to your CV, while working collaboratively to develop an event that will inspire students and staff alike. If you have an interest in creating positive change and are keen to develop invaluable skills and experience working on an creative project then do consider applying for a position on the committee.

If you're interested, we've put together a role description with further details as well as information on how to apply for this opportunity: Organising Committee Role Description [PDF].

The deadline for applications is Friday 26th October 2018, so get applying now!

For any questions about the committee roles or applying please get in touch with myself (atb34@bath.ac.uk) and Annika, Student Engagement Manager, (a.c.theilgaard@bath.ac.uk)!
