Winning the Ford Women in STEM Undergraduate of the Year Award

Posted in: Uncategorized

Last year I felt privileged to win the Ford Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Undergraduate of the Year Award, in recognition of the work I do inspiring the next generation of women to pursue a career in the engineering field. I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to speak at the Ford Dunton Technical Centre to celebrate National Women in Engineering Day in June.

I would highly recommend any first year female STEM undergraduates who have helped to promote STEM subjects to young people, to consider applying for the award. All you have to do is fill in an application form and answer some questions about yourself. By entering you have nothing to lose and could have the opportunity to visit the Ford Dunton Technical Centre and possibly win £1,000.
