If you could go back…what advice would you give to yourself at the start of your first year?

I would have told myself to join more societies and make the most of different opportunities and activities the University has to offer as I now have less time to undergo extracurricular activities due to the increase in workload during second year.

What is your best student hack?

Always ask if student discounts are available even if you are unsure.

Favourite meal to share with friends?

I really enjoy having hotpot with my friends. There are a variety of different food items you can put in depending on your taste and it is a very yummy and homey meal that reminds me of home.

What café, restaurant or place in town is your favourite?

This is a hard question as I enjoy visiting so many places in town. If I had to choose it would be an Italian restaurant called Ponte Vecchio as they serve loads of really yummy pasta dishes.

What is your hidden gem in Bath?

A place I really like that isn’t commonly visited is Prior Parks. It is a peaceful garden located in a valley where you can see over the city of Bath which is a beautiful view.

What do you do to unwind?

I like to spend time in my room watching Netflix whilst having a small snack.

How do you like to spend your time with friends?

My friends and I usually have horror movie nights, play different board games, such as monopoly, or find cool food recipes to do some baking and cooking together for dinner.

What is your best money saving tip?

Meal prepping has helped me a lot with budgeting. Cooking large batches of food then freezing it up can prevent me from eating out for a whole week and also reduces my energy bills.

Who or what picks you up when you are down? 

My friends and family have never failed to cheer me up. They always give me the best advice and make me feel as if everything will be okay.

What’s your worst habit?

Always going on my phone

​​What helps you focus or be productive?

Keeping my study space neat and tidy and listening to study music to keep me concentrated.

Best place to go for some fresh air?

The Royal Crescent has a large open space full of nature and grassy areas. It is a great place to have picnics with your friends and to get some fresh air outside your room.

What couldn’t you live without?

My airpods as I listen to music when walking, in the car, or on the plane, basically everywhere.

What is your favourite song and why?

My favourite song is Snooze by SZA, I find the chorus really catchy.

Best piece of advice you have been given?

Be happy in the present moment and don’t worry about having everything figured out, because you never will 🙂
