Join us for a Bath Scheme Writing Day

Posted in: Uncategorised

The Bath Scheme is running another of its popular Introductory Writing Days on Tuesday 18th December.  The day is open to those looking to get their Associate or Fellow application started within the next year, but are not sure how.  Those who teach or support learning are eligible to attend so long as they have made sure they have enough experience to make a claim for Associate or Fellow of the HEA (for more information, see case studies and FAQs) and have talked with their Bath Scheme Champion to make sure that this is the right Fellowship route to take.

Once you've checked that this is indeed the right route for you, you are invited to attend our Bath Scheme Introductory Writing Day. The Writing Day offers a brief overview explaining what you need to do to apply and how you go about it; the remainder of the day will be dedicated to supporting you in developing your examples to start writing something on your application form for Fellowship.

During the course of the day, you will be supported by several experienced advisors and assessors from across the University, who will be on hand to help you develop your thoughts, ideas and examples as you prepare your application.

Please note that you will need to book in advance (including any dietary needs) and that places are limited. Bath Scheme Writing Days offer an introduction and are currently for those wanting to write an application for Associate or Fellow. Can't make the December date? This Writing Day will run again in February 2019.

If you are considering making a claim for Senior Fellow after discussion with your Bath Scheme Champion, then contact acdev@bath.ac.uk for details of any forthcoming workshops for Senior Fellows.
