Attending the ISMCS Conference gave the team the opportunity to gather some valuable insights to help with future development of the device and to do some networking with professionals from various industries.
Among their trip highlights was the opportunity to share research and ideas with other institutions, including the Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) where the team were able to engage with their pioneering research and enrich understanding which will inform future iterations of the TAH.
The opportunity to engage in these events was invaluable, providing a platform to advance research in the cardiovascular field and contributing significantly to the team’s development and individual growth. Finally, the cultural experience of visiting Japan was truly unforgettable. From exploring ancient temples and enjoying breathtaking views of Mount Fuji to using karaoke booths to prepare for the presentation, the trip was a remarkable and enriching experience for everyone involved.
