Xerte Workshops: what is it and how can you use it?

Posted in: learning and teaching, learning technology, technology enhanced learning, TEL

Xerte Online Toolkits (or Xerte, usually pronounced Zertee) is a content creation tool for making interactive, web-based learning objects, without the need for programming skills. The University has its own installation of this software which is available for staff and students to use.

Recent substantive developments in Xerte have led us to use the tool to relocate the Successful Reflective Writing digital modules.

We are keen to share what’s changed with Xerte for those who’ve come across the tool already, and for those that haven’t, to introduce them to it. This will take the form of two workshops:

  • Introduction to Xerte: 2 May 2019, 10:15 am - the first session will show you around the tool
  • Creating digital resources with Xerte: 8 May 2019, 10:15 am - the second will invite you to bring along a piece of content to start creating your own resource

To book a place on the workshops visit the events page on the Learning and Teaching Hub @ Bath.
