New partner TweetChat event: creating a connected campus in socially distanced times

Posted in: Blended learning

The Centre for Learning and Teaching here at Bath and the University of Birmingham's Higher Education Futures institute (HEFi) have once again teamed up to host a joint live TweetChat event. The event, which will take place on Wednesday 16th September from 8 pm, forms part of the #LTHEchat (Learning and Teaching in Higher Education chat) weekly series. Dr Andy Pitchford, Head of Learning and Teaching in the CLT and Danielle Hinton, Educational Developer within HEFi, will co-host a discussion that explores the challenges that universities may face in delivering an holistic experience via a blend of socially distanced in-person education and remote learning.

Over the course of the hour-long TweetChat, participants will be invited to respond to several questions around the theme of: Lifting the mask: creating a connected campus in socially distanced times.

For those new to TweetChats, simply log onto Twitter and search for the hashtag #LTHEchat. Join in by clicking on the ‘Latest’ tab and remember to refresh your screen regularly to ensure you do not miss out on any of the conversation. There will be an opportunity to introduce yourself before we pose the questions, starting with Q1, Q2 and so on. Respond accordingly, using A1, A2 and so on, using the hashtag  #LTHEchat.
