Dr Imran Shah was approved TDF Share funding towards his attendance to the International Conference on Future of Teaching and Education held on 16-18 June, 2023 in Vienna, Austria. The conference created space for delegates to engage in creative thinking around teaching and learning towards continuous enhancement and innovation of the student experience. Dr Shah wrote:

“I was delighted to attend the 7th International Conference on Future of Teaching and Education as a presenter that took place in Vienna (https://www.icfte.com/conference-speakers/). It was a productive and efficient conference for many aspects. The Conference provided me a variety of opportunities to learn about the latest innovations in teaching and learning. I was happy to give my presentation on the impact of Student-Centred Teaching Strategies on Educational Attainment in Econometrics (Certificate attached). In my presentation, I demonstrate the Student-Centred Teaching Strategies improves students’ long-run performance in econometrics by about 3when compared to the mean grade.

My work was well appreciated, and I received the positive feedback for further improvement. The conference also gave me opportunity to meet the other academicians and know about their works. We discussed how we can shape the future of teaching and learning in higher education across the globe and share how we are shaping our teaching, our department, our institution, and our future in higher education. Consequently, increases in academic cooperation even in different disciplines will make a great contribution to science and our institutes. Finally, I have been offered to publish my work in the peer reviewed journals.”
