Are you teaching and supporting learning and have enough experience to make a claim for Associate or Fellow of the HEA (see case studies and FAQs)? Have you had a conversation with your Bath Scheme Champion to ensure that this route to Fellowship is right for you? Do you want to get your Associate or Fellow application started, but not sure how or when? Are you planning to submit your application in the next academic year?
If the answer to ALL of these questions is Yes, then why not come along to one of the full Writing Days offered in non-teaching periods before the Christmas Break, Easter Break and in July.
Writing Days
On Writing Days, after a brief overview explaining what you need to do and how you go about it, the remainder of the day will be dedicated to supporting you in developing your examples to start writing something on your application form for Fellowship.
The day will be supported by several experienced advisors/assessors from across the University, who will be on hand to help you develop your thoughts, ideas and examples as you prepare your application.
Please note the full day will NOT run with fewer than 15 people. The Writing Days are currently on for those wanting to write an application for Associate or Fellow. If you are considering making a claim for Senior Fellow after discussion with your Bath Scheme Champion, then contact acdev@bath.ac.uk for details of any forthcoming workshops for Senior Fellows.
The next Writing Day is on Tuesday 10 July 2018: please secure your place by emailing acdev@bath.ac.uk before Friday 29 June . Refreshments will be available throughout the day including a nice lunch, so please let us know your dietary requirements.
Fellowship Fridays
If you have participated in a Writing Day and/or started your application then you can access the regular writing support sessions (Fellowship Fridays). These sessions are ideal for taking time away from the office to focus on your application. Please sign up here https://moodle.bath.ac.uk/mod/choice/view.php?id=651082 for further details and venues. Forthcoming Fellowship Fridays will take place on Friday 1 June (14:15 – 16:05), Friday 29 June (14:15- 16:05), and Friday 27 July (14:15- 16:05).
