Department for Health
The University of Bath'sĀ Department for Health is a leading institution for carrying out research and teaching in health, medicine, exercise and sport, making significant contributions to national and international health agendas and government initiatives.
Activities are divided between two key areas:
- Population health, comprising three research clusters of sport, health and exercise science, tobacco control and health inequalities.
- Healthcare, comprising leadership and change, mental health research and development, pain management and work, health and wellbeing.
TheĀ Department for Health also offers the opportunity to develop skills in sport and healthcare, gaining recognised specialist qualifications in a number of areas. You can study full time on the undergraduate programme in Sport and Exercise Science, or part time via online distance learning, in a selection of postgraduate programmes.
