New programme of events

We are pleased to announce our new programme of events.

  • Monday 13th March, 13:15 - 14:00, 3E3.8. Hear about the Bath Abbey Footprint project. Jeremy Key-Pugh from the project will talk about management of the project, the archaeological finds and the light it has shone on the Abbey's history. All welcome. No booking required.
  • Saturday 13th May (note change of date) Trip to Slimbridge. Visit this spectacular wetland and wildlife centre famous for its birds. Leaving campus at 9.30 returning at 5pm. £26.50 for adults and £22 for children. Contact for more details
  • Saturday 9th September Trip to RHS Wisley. This date coincides with the annual Wisley Flower Show and the National Dahlia Show. Leave campus 8 am, return 5pm. £32 for non-RHS members, £18 if you have RHS membership. Contact for more details.

Expressions of interest are also being taken for:

  • Possible trip to Warner Bros World of  Harry Potter Studio Tour  one Saturday or Sunday either at Halloween or in the run up to Christmas.  Tickets for this need to be paid for at time of booking and will cost £70 per adult or £58 per child; hence this trip will not go ahead unless we have enough interest to fill a coach. If you are definitely interested, please email Ann at
  • Possible trip to Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery. The cost of this would be less than £35 per ticket BUT group tours only run weekdays so would need to be on a discretionary day (most of which fall in school holidays) or just before Christmas. If you are definitely interested, please email Ann at with a preference to which discretionary day/date in December.
